Dermal fillers are an extremely flexible and effective medical cosmetic product used to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, to enhance and volumise lips and contour the facial profile.
The versatility and excellent results of dermal fillers are well established, as is their excellent safety record. At Clinical Beauty Services we generally use Belotero fillers, an increasingly popular and widely used filler which integrates beautifully with your skin. Within this range, there are four types of filler to choose from, and Rachael will select the appropriate formula depending on your needs. All our dermal fillers are based on a natural non-animal derived substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). HA occurs naturally in your skin, attracting moisture to your skin’s cells and maintaining hydration. Approximately 87% of your skin’s upper layers is hyaluronic acid. As we age, HA levels decrease, leaving skin less elastic and prone to lines and wrinkles. Dermal fillers are applied to the skin using a fine needle, replacing your skin’s natural HA and forming a cushion that fills out wrinkles and furrows.
Nose to mouth lines
A particularly popular treatment is dermal filling of naso-labial (nose to mouth) lines. As we age, the naso-labial lines become more prominent as the skin loses collagen and fat, which causes the cheeks to sag. Dermal fillers are the most effective treatment for these lines and have a dramatic anti-ageing effect.
Lines Between the Brows
Perhaps the most common medical cosmetic treatment, and indeed the most effective immediate improvement to facial appearance, is the removal of brow and forehead lines, particularly lines between the brows. Dermal fillers are commonly used and effective in these areas. If there are deep frown lines then Botox is probably the best way to go. If the lines are finer, then dermal fillers can be used to smooth out the lines.
Lip Enhancement
Dermal fillers offer a safe and non-permanent way of enhancing your lips, to create a fuller, or more defined lip that’s soft to the touch, without looking like your lips have been ‘done’. By gradually building up your desired look you can remain in control of your treatment whilst creating lips you’ll love.
Prices for HA dermal fillers start at £250 and will be discussed and agreed during a thorough consultation. Consultations are free of charge.
Tear Troughs
Do you suffer with dark circles under your eyes, caused by loss of tissue volume and hollow circles around the eye socket? Rachael offers a very effective, temporary treatment using an incredibly soft dermal filler, Teosyal Puresense Redensity II, to instantly improve the appearance of tired eyes, which can be very ageing. With an ultra fine needle, very small amounts of an exceptionally smooth hyaluronic acid filler are injected carefully to fill out the hollow sockets and a lovely smooth contour is regained instantly. These treatments are very specialist and come with the added assurances that Redensity II is licensed for this particular indication and lasts up to 12 months. Tear trough treatments start at £300
